When Phosphate rock was quoted as $350-400, DAP was approx $1000 as quoted on the fertilizerworks.com site. DAP is now $1225-30. An increase of approx 22%. That should lead to an increase in the underlying phosphate rock price of $427-488 if the percentages stay the same. I am not sure if the increases are equivalent to the percentage increases in DAP or dollar increases.
May last year saw DAP at $430 and Phosphate rock at $75-85. I would be betting on at least percentage increase in Phosphate rock this month. An announcement to that effect should put a good boost under the MAK share price.
