IMO, the next element of TIG's 2019 prospects is the nature, cost, timing & financing to Phase 11:
-(a )increased mining rate
-(b) increased trucking rate
-(c) increased port handling rate
-(d) increased barging/loading rate
-(e) the CHPP
Sorry folks, I can't help you very much here.
All I can contribute is on Item( B)
The most economic way to lift transport tonnage to the port is to buy and equip 12 of the Scania fleet with 3 axle dog trailers.
Current nominal haulage rate is 60K ton per month. The addition of trailers would lift this by at least 60% to 96K ton a month
or a million ton a year with 6 weeks off for break-up , holidays etc.
I have already had a quote for the trailers at about $50K USD per unit including the tow-hydrailics-electrics fitting kit.
This solution is preferable to adding another 8 trucks because it saves on extra drivers and uses less diesel than an all
rigid truck fleet. Lets face it, if this were in Aus, we'd have at least road train doubles. The rigid-dog trailer option is best
for this region because trailers can be dropped in extreme snow conditions.
-Cost: $900K USD incl shipping & fitting
-Timing: Trailers & Fitting Kits could arrive on first ship to Beringovsky Port due mid June 2019
.Fitting could be at the rate of 3 units a week thereafter or as needed.
Perhaps others with knowledge/skills or simply do research could make a contribution on (A) (C). (D) & (E), please.
IE: what is required, when it should happen & how much it would likely cost
IMO, TIG should have already supplied the market with its forward upgrade plans for phase 11 with costs and timing
but given its track record, that's not likely to happen; hence the DIY endeavour!
Again , IMO, Mr Market has to see a clear path to TIG being a profitable enterprise before he puts his chips on the table.
At this stage there seems to be a cat and mouse game happening but retail investors don't know whether we are cat or mouse,
but as the saying goes, if you are not at the table (boardroom) you are probably on the menu.
Could I request posts on this thread about TIG's forward prospects or specifically about the items A-E above.
