There's a good chance he will.
It's a time honoured tradition when you look like losing an election.
The scorched earth policy.
Lumber your opponent with spending which would have to be cut so you can spend in your preferred policy areas.
The Coalition in 2014 cut spending but spent the savings in areas aligned with their own policy favourites.
Of late they haven't necessarily followed the promise of finding savings to cover new spending.
There has been a boost in income but it seems they are inclined to spend rather than pay down debt.
ScoMo giving mixed messages on that front.
Labor rants on about the Coalition "cuts to health and education", using them in their propaganda.
Just wait until Bill gets in, the other morning the ABC had a guest female economist saying if economical hardship falls on Australia it's ok to print more money cause we can handle it just like America did in 2008, put the housing sub prime on top and the renewable fantasy land target that is for sure going to see black outs and closure to industry as such and the printing machines won't be able to print fast enough.
the unions will be pushing Labors head to the grind stone, and bill will stay silent and have that look on his face, but no words and no real remedy.
Can't wait lefties.
