I've seen some pretty outlandish things in my time following the ASX, but there is no doubt in my mind that last week topped them all. If there was a trophy for the most intellectually challenged share registry of any company on the exchange, then they might as well start engraving our ticker symbol on it now. Do you realise that those morons selling as fast as they could at the first sight of danger (which was probably started on purpose) cost themselves thousands of dollars. I did a calculation of Friday afternoon, and those holders who put just $10K into the cap raise had a holding worth over $61K just weeks ago when the shares were at 5c. Now, thanks to their own actions and inability to find a brain between them, their holdings were worth $23K going into the weekend.

You can feel as bad as you want for them, but they shouldn't be allowed to invest in a company if they don't have the common sense to see what a pack of timid, greedy investors who think they are smarter than they really are can do if left unattended. Selling shares at the last minute to maximise profit on options given to you started about 100 years ago! If most of them took 5 minutes to look, they'd have seen what always eventuates when that 5th grade strategy is used. Quite frankly they deserve this lesson and I hope that those who bought their shares make a killing!!

I wish that I could say that this was the end of it, but no doubt the next wave will be the ones willing to take a carton of stubbies for the options they didn't pay anything for in case they expire worthless. Nah, the stupidity is far from over I suspect. Good thing is, like today anyway, I have a feeling there will be a few out there more than willing to take the punt on these sheep.
