Haven't heard that one about delisting. Personally I reckon those sort of rumours are just that, malicious bullsh*t. I know it's terribly hard to be a minnow shareholder sitting there in the dark while CIY management puts out glossy newsletters basically suggesting that there's no probs, everything's cool. Don't worry your pretty little heads about anything. I for one would much rather a tell-all realistic and honest newsletter at this critical stage but instead we get not much more than pretty pictures and slick cr*p from management. I personally think that this rubbish fools nobody and is a complete insult to the intelligence.
Having said all that, to me the biggest positive (and the only thing that's keeping me in at the moment) is this: Why would Forrest Corp throw CIY a lifeline to the tune of $100 million if they thought, for one second, that this company may fall over. It would'nt matter what interest rate they were offered, they would have to be "100%" certain that this mob would still be there come Christmas time. There was a mention of Forrst and CIY on page 3 of this morning's Age.
I actually believe that they will survive and will even honour their dividend commitments as well. What may well happen is that anyone with the guts to take a position now at under a dollar will see the share price at around the $2.00 mark by Christmas and, at the moment, there are precious few stocks you could say that about. By the way THX, I still have a sizeable position in FDL. Hoping they are going to get me out of the sh*t. Cheers, JC
