Hi Blue and others,

I have not intentionally gone quiet, I just don’t feel I have anything to contribute. I will give my reasoning below, with the disclaimer that I am obviously no adviser, and re-iterate that I don’t think my opinion is any more valuable than most people here:

 

When I started posting, I was of the opinion that perhaps we can improve the rhetoric in the discussions about ECT, not only on HC, but more broadly as well.  This was combined with my suspicions around a number of things, but primarily:

·      I believed (and still believe) we are very close to an opportunity of becoming very appealing to the market, with long-awaited signatures with big industry players and;

·      Company management are open to communicating with its shareholders and potential investors with transparency and integrity (jury is still out on this)

·      While with any other company I wouldn’t worry too much about HC being too much of a worry around the dialogue that displayed on the platform, the company specifically mentions HC in communications, and engages proactively with the HC community.   I think this leaves us under a bit of exposure with new investors as it is possible that seeing these company references to HC, they may come onto the forum to see what others are thinking and what is being discussed about the company.   Seeing repeated discussions about missed timelines, poor respect for management (from some) and other poor perceptions (from some) risks a new investor being turned off from making the decision to invest in our company, thus only perpetuating the current trend of market announcements having no positive contribution to share value

I attempted to confirm my suspicions above and gain feedback from other users, and passed this information onto the ECT Rep via the Q&A.  

Given the events of the last week+, I think my suspicions may have been slightly premature: the management team surpassed a deadline they set themselves and had total control over to meet, and rather than jump onto the forum and have another crack at maintaining credibility by stating that they were going to miss the deadline before they actually missed it, they waited until after.  Pretty fundamental stuff, as some have already pointed out. 

 

Despite my long posts, I don't like to post for the heck of it, and as such I haven’t felt any need to contribute further for the time being, until I actually receive some feedback relating to the questions I have asked, and which were specifically invited to be posed by the company representatives itself.  

 

Despite the above, I still remain cautiously positive about the forward direction of this company.
