I doubt it is an Origin/BG (coal bed methane) effect ... not many know about ucg and those that do would most likely know about Linc and ucg to diesel rather than ucg as a gas per se.

I think it is more that some new "early" positions are being taken in CXY, MEE and SXP because of the run away success Linc are having at the moment due to really spot on PR by that company.

Early success in any of these four companies was always going to create more widespread interest in ucg.

I think a significant point of difference between LNC, MEE and CXY is going to be the first to achieve commercial success with ucg produced syngas. It is not at all clear yet who that might be

The early bird might get the worm, but the second and third mice may share the cheese lol ... what a lovely mixed metaphor lol.
