I played keyboard and guitar (not that well) in bands from when I was about 16 (bloody long time ago) and we had to work our butts off to get the gear we needed...el cheapo amps etc.My 17 yo son asked me to go watch his band rehearse the other day....and there they were....kids still going to school with Marshall stacks ,Big PA mixer,Fender guitars...I'll bet I had as much fun though.
