Tradewind,
I don't think Ian is complacent. Just that when the company was re-structured, U was a pretty hot commodity. U topped US$120/lb but now down to US$65/lb. Then, it was only logical to explore for U. Now, FE is hot and prices have been very strong with spot Fe priced at $200/t. It can't be seen as jumping around following the volatility of commodity prices.
SFR was exploring for base metals, gold etc. It has iron ore on a tenement and today announced a major Korean steel company as a cornerstone investor to exploit the iron ore. Check my SFR thread 5/3/08 and you will find my iron ore potential alert.
RSL right now may be hunting around for a sponsor like SFR was.
My guess is that before June is out, the iron ore play will be announced. This is speculation of course, but then all mining explorations are speculative, so one more speculation is not going to hurt.
I still maintain is a good speculative buy because unlike other iron ore hopefuls, iron ore resource has been found and drilled, albeit 30 yrs ago.
