As a devotee of price action analysis I have a high regard for Darvas' trading methods. Markets which trend strongly, including some of the currency pairs, lend themselves to Darvas-box trading. Have you tried to add Donchian channels and Darvas-boxes to the same security (as a method of absolutely confirming entry/pyramiding signals)? A friend of mine swears by this as a method for position trading currencies and the metals.
