Hard to believe that the CEO of a Copper Company (especially one as overtly named as CopperCo) would think of talking down the copper price at a time like this. Not sure what there is to gain by talking about what might happen one day, IF and when demand from China & India drops off (Can't see it myself just yet!). Could be that he is seeking to excuse their not so healthy hedge position vs spot prices.
I, like many I have talked to, don't understand the rationale for the proposed merger. We'll see whether it gets the support from holders.
