Made a day of xmas shopping today and took a picnic lunch to get away from the bustle for a while.
So we're sitting at this bench up on the Gib surrounded by about 6 magpies singing for their supper.My wife has this piece of sausage in her hand just about to pop it in her mouth and - whoosh - down comes a young kookaburra and takes it in a flash. She didn't even feel him grab it. I only saw him coming out of the corner of my eye.
Thief! Hope the garlic didn't upset him.
