Production from two wells is expected to be around 300 Mcf/day  -  which may mean there is zero production right now from the wells right now by the way its phrased

is the field really just as good as it sounds?

Brannan Island State Recreation Area is a califorian state government reserve, and after all and you cant even drink alcohol on the reserve, i really cant imagine the way a  oil company does business in a state recreation reserve.  Clean ups of old oil fields in that environment may not be as easy and cheap as one imagines
