Not trying to put a positive spin on this, and there is a likelihood the SP might get some drubbing as a result of this, but who knows what will happen tomorrow, I will wait and see.

In today's business, those organisations that are dynamic and adoptable to change have better chances of thriving. If FBR have done their homework and looked at their options analysis, and if the projection is that the best for business is for them to go for a different model, I do not see what is wrong with freeing themselves from CAT. The MOU with CAT limited FBRs options, put simply they could not 'shop around'. There are other players out there who could deliver the product much cheaper for them and increase profit margins, they could utilise the likes of Hyundai, Isuzu, Komatsu etc. That way also FBR have better chances of protecting their IP, dealing with different partners whom they can propose the terms and conditions upfront, as opposed to CAT who might arm twist them as they had exclusivity to negotiate under the terms of the MOU if it remained in effect.

I will be looking out what to see what the other top holders will be doing, remember these have probably got access to more information that the rest of us. Admittedly FBR needs to communicate clearly what their next steps are, this business of leaving shareholders to guess will always result in that gap being filled by who knows who, could be up-rampers, down-rampers, fear mongers, narcissist, ego-centric characters!

Good Lucky to all holders. Do your own research...
