I still dont understand why people would invest in NAOS long term. It has long proven itself to be a perennial under performer. Im always seeing Sebastian Evans in the newspapers giving interviews, & I dont understand why anyone would listen to anything he says. He gives more interviews than Monty!!.
NAOS have lost on Japara; sure the stock may bounce back, but if it does its an opportunity cost lost by NAOS - why did they buy so long ago and why have the kept hold of the stock all this time? Oh thats right, they thought it was a good investment back then, and didnt foresee the slide in August. Do you know why? Because like most, they dont know what going to happen in the future. Even though they claim they can outperform, they cant, and they most likely wont, in the future.
Ive always wondered, what was the atmosphere like at NAOS in August when Japara shed almost 40% of vaule? Do they walk around with their heads bowed and avoid making eye contact?
My biggest pet hate is Fund Managers talking down ETF's.
