When I am making a cup of tea I look fondly on my (not so) shody Chinese kettle ( $10 from Big W ) and remember my old shody expensive Kambrook kettle ( made in Aus and real crap).
Then I switch on my shody Panasonic 50" HDTV ( Japanese company but made in China ) and memories linger of my first Pye black and white small screen TV made in Tempe, NSW and yes it was expensive and shody.

As I write, my cheap and shody 160 Gbyte hard drive made in Singapore but ...who am I kiding?
