1. The western world builds the latest green energy technology in all undeveloped country to stop people burning wood, cow dung and coal.
We can also pay poor people to have less kids as they live in countries without welfare and kids ate their insurance in old age.
2. Build at least 100 new generation fast breeder nuclear power plants as a mater of urgency.
These are much safer and more efficient than old plants and they can also burn stored nuclear waste.
3. Continue developing alternatives to cars such as better public transport.
Continue with energy efficiencies for all home gadgets.
4. Pay and employ people in places like Africa to plant trees but they will need to be irrigated with water cleaned using modern solar desalination plants.
5. Get the best minds on the planet to work on fusion energy.
Once we have unlimited energy the world can easily support 10 billion people as cities can grow up.
Water and food van be produced using desalination etc.
That is making some progress but more is needed to speed up the technology.
6. Like apartheid --- round up all climate deniers and force them to live in the Simpson desert.
They can plant trees for a living and carry watering cans 10 km to water their plants!
There are of course hundreds of ideas that need to be appraised.
