    It would cost Japan very little. Malaysia is basically bankrupt for obvious reasons and reliant on Japanese loans to keep the wheels of commerce turning.
    Make more sense for Japan to buy Lynas then tell Malaysia hands off our LAMP as part of 3B loan arrangements.
    Maybe AL will be having a quiet discussion with JARE to measure support for a direct approach by Japan on Lynas' behalf?
    Very good chance the Japanese are just as upset by the Yeo dictum as are fellow Lynas shareholders.

    I always believed the watermelons were economic vandals and Yeo has just added further evidence to support this belief. Nothing to do with the environment. The watermelons represent seemingly legitimate enforcement of socialist idealism.
