SPI Futures traded in an 87 point range last night, with a high of 5664, low of 5577 and a close this morning of 5654, down just 3 points on high volume (for us) of 20,293 contracts. Based on that range, my resistance lines are 5719, 5697, 5685, 5675, 5665, 5653 with the pivot point at 5632 and support lines at 5610, 5598, 5588, 5578, 5566 and 5545. She below the much discussed 5600 level then rebounded back to the highs. When I woke up, the DOW was down over 400 points (for a nice long) and ended up down 79 or .32 pct, SNP down .15 pct and Canada (resource driven) down more, at 1.57 pct (this number can change after I post) and the VIX up just 1.54 pct to 21.06 - nothing scary there. Gaps from last night down at 5605, 5608 and 5602. So, one person get's arrested and the world markets tumble. Must be a very special person, or just maybe there was something else going on. Not sure, but follow the chart would be my 'thinking'. Have a nice day, and it's Remember Pearl Harbour day, and its Friday, the anything can happen day.
