It’s a fine line, and I’ll trust GV and CK to do what’s in the best interest of shareholders (they’re apparently v good at that - too good it turns out...!). If they want the anz transaction to proceed with onepath included they will have to step down I think.
If it’s now in ioof’s interest for anz to pull out (and maybe even pay an exit fee) then they can probably stay on and fight APRA and let anz pull out. Imagine having 500mil for a buy back at these prices.
