how do you know that the satellites don't require some form of upfront payment? say 50% deposit and 50% on completion??? This is pretty standard for most construction contracts

Did you end up listening to the weeb cast about payment for the pearls.
Also Meir has said one of the perks of going with gomespace is we don't need to pay till the batch is completed and tested.
