I questioned them about their salaries too and let it be known I thought they were high (I also think performance targets are too low).
He said he was on similar pay for his last job.
He also said that he pays for his own apartment but in the beginning it was paid by the company as a relocation cost. Also said the company has a deal with BMW and they get 40% off so it would cost the same as a Mazda (his words).
In fairness, he does deserve a company car.
You can wait for an official announcement on this, ask them yourself or take my word.
I think I say it as it is though.
