My scorecard for stocks I like and part with cash for a slice of it.
1. Sustainably high rates of return on equity
2. Little or no debt
3. Management you like and trust
4. Organic growth rather then growth by acquisitions/equity raisings
5. Trading below Intrinsic Value
6. Bright prospects
5.9 out of six on my scorecard..... The only let down for me is item 3, even then only one person. Who I would be surprised remained in the role he has, so is of no concern to me.
