Who are Matthews Captial Partners? Are they an Australian fund?
They seem have been chasing Basker by buying into Beach and Nexus, through Nexus bidding for Anzon. Then it is reported that Anzon Basker had poor drilling.
So Nexus pulls out, but MCP keep buying. Then Anzon report good oil flows from Basker. Then, as usual, Beach sp lowers again.
This seems to be very like a game of Poker to me!
