Hi Guys.

I've had a bit more of a scan of the Hudson Group (Ticker is HGL) annual report.

Interesting mob.

It looks like their major asset is a carpark in Maquarie Street, Sydney. They also have a bunch of residential and industrial properties in ANZ and own 38% of the listed Hudson Resources (HRS), which mines kitty litter

As I said, lots of Chinese names on the register but whether these guys are Chossies, Singaporeans or PRC types I don't know. There is reference to many of the top 20 shareholders belonging to an employee incentive scheme so I assume that those guys are at least working in Australia.

Small mining and properties just like GUL. They've probably said to themselves that is a good match and with GUL having plenty of asset compared to their market cap it would probably be a nice pick up.
