I think the amateurish approach by Directors of RMS have demonstrated that they have already rushed into this predicament which they are now even more desperately trying to resolve, by their initial ill thought out hostile takeover. They espoused virtue, but have been quite aggressive in their continued attempts to steal the assets of EXU.
This most recent, desperate and last attempt will receive a swift and proper rebuttal from the EXU Directors, I assume.
The economics for RMS are demonstrably suspect even by their own previous Due Diligence investigations. So, how can an increased bid be economically justified for RMS Shareholder approval???
Questions must be raised by RMS shareholders at the next step!
The ALK, passive investment offer is too good to refuse and should go ahead.
An assured $15m injection into EXU will allow the Company to fully prove up not only Mace, but also, and very importantly, Anomaly 8. These two significant prospects can add enormously to the NPV of EXU. Not to mention the yet to be release infill drilling results of Tampia.
There are some, who I understand, that seek a quick buck from the RMS offer. Be that as it may.
However, I ask. Why throw the baby out with the bathwater?
Whilst the RMS offer may appear appealing to short term holders, the optimum value in EXU IS certainly yet to be realised by a stand alone operation which undoubtedly will show many multiples of the current offer price by RMS.
I am sure the 10% equity owner would not consider selling at such a low level, so why would any sane shareholder who can se the upside sell?

Are you aware that most of the major EXU shareholders have agreed to the RMS offer? They have serious money invested and see the clear value but you seem to have a weird view that this is all a rip off and the almost insolvent company (EXU) can still make a fortune for shareholders. Please don't influence gullible people with nonsense. I have a lot of money invested here and can't allow you to propogate this rubbish
