The rumours are pretty disturbing. They are not corroborated in any way and hence only a release from AVQ will put this to bed and we will either all be winners or all losers. I am preying the rumours are wrong as what my very loose understanding of how a potential Chinese group got the licence and more importantly - how, is that they reportedly paid 1.3M USD upfront to landowners with a promise of 6M more the second a chinese toe touches the ground to be distributed with no strings attached. That is just on the transparent front end. I would have thought a liberal application of grease would have been needed to turn cogs inside the government as well....but again pure speculation. I'm genuinely worried here and only sharing what I've heard in the hope to seek clarity from what others may have heard as we wait to hear the truth of the matter.
