Nice to read something positive abut FBR and something hopeful. I think FBR's SP may well recover.

There is a definite difference of world view here between long termers and short traders. I think that we long traders are hanging on to the more positive longer term possibilities that you cite. All species are a risk. If the risk we have taken comes out as justified in the end then the risk was worth it. I have risked a lot and I am hanging on.But then I am set up OK away from the market so if I lose it I lose it. I have not borrowed to buy in and I sympathise with those that did. You don't get a big payoff without taking a big risk. Most of my money is in  term deposits which give me enough on top of landlord returns. Lets hope the Pivacs prove successful in the end. But let's not have pumped up fantasies based on wishful thinking.
