Looking at commsec there's been ~1.3m OA traded since 13 DEC but the issue date for the bonus options is today? So how did SB sell these shares? 

That's an interesting observation. Perhaps he already held some OAs and lightened his load due to the new issue. Or, hopefully, he transferred the newly acquired OAs to a family member off-market.
