you are right the set up wasn't appropriate, the biggest mistake they made was choosing a jet pump that was great at removing water but not so good at removing gas & water , both of the klebbs went from bouncing around 10 mcf for a period to about 60 to 80 mcf in a few days when they got the conditions right only to start cavitating as the gas rate built, this i believe happened a number of times in both klebb wells. if the proper pump were chosen & careful draw down applied there was a very good chance they could of achieved there goal .
