Either way the most important fact is whether they can make a meaningful impact to the company. There arent too many levers to pull.
Everyone seems to be thinking that storage will be the saviour but the issue is as more people do storage the peaks flatten out. The 2nd Tesla size battery deployed in SA won't make nearly as much profit as the first as a lot of the profit has come from the FCAS market. It's a simple case of reducing return as the market becomes more saturated. We're not quite there yet in terms of saturation but you can bet your bottom dollar that international groups like Neoen, Engie, Mitsui etc will beat infigen on scale due to less debt woes.
