now that gold produced in March thru to June 2019 can be sold on forward contracts at AUD1800 per ounze hopefully Ramelius directors are locking in some profits .
Their win over Explaurum must oblige them to look to higher , more profitable production and with an eye to the financing of Tampia the locking in of a $600+ margin over and above the usual hedging program should be considered.
Why? AUD gold price could climb to $1900 and beyond!
My view is that a BFS for Tampia stand alone financing is bolstered by the pledging of undelivered profits sourced from Mt Mgnet/Vivien/Marda/Edna May . That profit of (say) 40,000x$600 against those hedges could translate to an additional $20million in loan funds for Tampia. A discussion -today -with would-be debt funders like Investec saying ' look we're locking in additional gross profit of $24million on our 2019 gold production so we can offer you security over the proceeds against your early commitment to fund Tampia on a stand alone basis. You like that ?'
Now is not the time to enjoy the Christmas bubbly MrZeptner ....this year you are extra busy!
