Water has always been an issue in the entire Norte Grande (Greater North) not just in the Salar, I know the area extremely well, it is the driest place on earth. Unfortunately mining in general, not just Lithium, requires water to obtain the minerals but I would think that Corfo would reduce the water extraction allocation and distribute it pro-rata to all participants. This would reduce the future lithium supply and keep prices high.... so not necessarily a bad thing.
