Labor’s Keating brought us the banana republic and the recession we had to have but overall redeemed himself in office, first as treasurer and then PM.
Conservatives have righteously brought us the Liberal Party blow up the majority of Australians would have preferred to do without and I can’t see any potentially redeeming vision or actions on the horizon.
This minority created mayhem is depressing.
But, if there is to finally be a break from a decade or more of conservative induced dissenting politics, and they are their own collateral damage, then I am up for it.
