Protecting ones borders is a historical fact called immigration control, the Cuban missile crisis was a good example where a stand off between America and Russia's almost led to nuclear war That's an instant thing. Any form of physical activity of storming sovereign borders weather it be over immigration will lead to internal unrest and external foreign strife. in over words conflict.
It has taken place but is not good for human beings done in a slow or fast manner. on this planet despite a merciful intentions multiculturalism requires sacrifice of one's own birth right of citizenship history always uses it as a precursor to war. Tall fences make good neighbours.
