Well said Acorn, you addressed the reality of the situation, rather than try to prop up the denial of reality that marks the misguided position of those supporting and executing the already unsuccessful “war on drugs.”
so what we have is many people take illegal drugs and some people die as a result.
there are ways readily available right now through for example pill testing to limit the number of deaths and as these are denied by the authorities the only sane conclusion is that these authorities want people to die.
they could allow pill testing. They choose not to. As a result people die.
the war on drugs is unsuccessful because taking drugs isn’t addressed as the health issue that it is, rather just another opportunity for conservatives to try and tell other people how to live.
as a result, the war on drugs will remain unsuccessful, more people will die, and that’s what authorities want. It’s sick stuff.
