    Yup been there too

    I now pretty much just keep with it and only offload if I see a structural issue with an industry or particular stock.

    I haven’t bought any bhp in the last year above $30, but I see significant value in the stock. I’ve bought quite a bit of RIO in the $70s though.

    What’s best is even when you time you top ups incorrectly (banks - I’ve bought stacks) you still get a good dividend to keep pumping more $ into undervalued (In my opinion) blue chips. When mid cap or specs go wrong you end up with a crippling capital raising or eventual bankruptcy. 30-50 years of compounding investments is truely amazing.
