You raise a good point. Broadly I will admit, LOI's are like pre-contracts. Essentially, two parties agree to the general terms of a contract with maybe the negotiations around wording or other commitments. A lot of these negotiations will be about due diligence so not a bad mechanism by either party to nail down obligations.
Agree that no news about Malta is annoying.

Most MXC followers would however agree that this company is fairly loose with some of the statement's contained in its releases. Personally i dont feel reassured by companies that do this. I'd like to see a fresh update from MXC and some plain talking about where the Malta project actually sits.
