I have 10 kilowatts of solar on my roof, that's 40 panels.
That produces around 15% of my energy needs throughout the year.
Remember, cloudy or night = no output.
Renewables will never replace coal fired power, batteries are years away from
giving more than a couple of hours use when renewables(intermittent) power fail.
Many more fuel powered plants will be built that's haow it will be for the next 100 years.
