The SASOL plant in SA is now a very old plant and is very polluting. The new plant proposed by LNC should have much lower emissions, partly because it uses underground burning and partly through their gas preclean system. I would expect emmisions to be mainly CO2 and Water Vapour. Even this will not make the greenies real happy but at least it wont be as bad as SASOL
