How is do you know they haven’t already been doing this? I consider a face to face meeting quite substantial. It shows a need, want, desire and commitment to form a business alliance.
If the meeting was to discuss something ongoing yet no nearer then they were before then they can do this via other methods then waste money to fly around the world to meet.
Once a deal is struc, expect more face to face meetings.
