At least here the discussion is not strictly a "what's in it for me" one. On another investment forum I've just read they have not got past the baby bonus and whether the $150k includes investment income. (pathetic)
Like all of Howard's there is nothing in it for me, being a modest income empty nester. But I do applaud lifting the tax threshold which will exclude many casuals and students from tax.
First impressions is that it is more forward looking than anything the Libs ever gave us and we do need to spend on infrastructure, education and health. They were neglected.
