Meanwhile the clinical trail took 9 patients from being inoperable to operable. Let's not forget that this device (in conjuction with chemo) has very real potential to make a difference to patients with this terrible disease, and their extremely poor prospects for survival.
Are there risks? yes. Can other treatments offer the same? yes, but the theory here is sound- inject the radioactive substance in the tumour, with enough dose to make a difference, without impacting surrounding tissue as is the problem with external beam radiation.
I'm sitting on this. Again, why would a marketing agent and new appointee be made late last year if the CE was looking shaky?
