Hope you can click through to the article. Summary: Kmart is going to slash prices after their first decline in sales. This speaks to the heavy discounting that has been going on in the retail space. If I am not mistaken, Rebel, Supercheap Auto and BCF were advertising big discounts over the holiday period. Not that this information is enough to forecast decline in sales but none of the retailers other than Noni B have reported anything good.
