    There is no deal on the table now, it was thrown out with the rubbish yesterday.

    Nobody has any more idea what will happen now than they did pre-poll, suck it and see.

    I don't agree at all with your young/old line of reasoning. Would you recommend an upper age limit on Australian elections? Would you bar the terminally ill from voting as they won't be around very long?

    What about those voters with kids vs those without? Should the voters with kids get more votes? If the childless are to be electorally disadvantaged should they be allowed to hold public office? That would take out a swathe of the current EU leaders.

    Seems like a load of tosh to me. A vote is a vote and the voters decided.
