Australia barely makes anything, so I cant see why there would for example be any rules around consumer electronics, any negotiator who thinks Australia needs protection from cheap consumer electronics goods would be talking their own book. As for commodities, what protection would those get? Nothing, nada zilch
Can you think of anything that really needs intervention by government? I cant, make all trade free and stop wasting all this time and energy, it seems to be more about keeping a few government bureaucrats in a job
