I think Brendan has been put under big short term pressure by the declining cobalt price. He will be trying to deliver the lowest possible capex he can for the upcoming updated SS. We need to be as far down the cost curve as possible. This is why I'm ok re him holding the updated SS back until the end of March.
If he's aiming for a JV or a takeover the bottom line will count the most.
As he said , hes only got one shot at getting it right.
