Just when some of us have started thinking that GM/FORD etc better get some place holders ( vehicles to satisfy their customers that want an EV while those big companies design/build their almost all electric line ups for 2021 & beyond ), what do we see? They’re actually thinking the same thing- we must all note that the pickup/SUV is the only area of sales that ICE still rules completely.

I’ve long thought that once we see tradesmen in electric utes & families at the beach etc in EV’s that we’d really know that the ‘future’ is here. It seems that we are finally in what many of us imagined being the 21st century would be like.

Next challenge? Heavy vehicles ( civilian & military ), & construction equipment. Oops- there are already electric excavators being sold. Ok- once we see heavy vehicles go electric we can pretty well say that there is an electric option in all vehicular ranges.

Finally- the hard working factory workers of Asia/the West & the diligent designers/engineers etc of the same & the same will really start to reap the rewards of all our efforts... & the almost non participant which has held us all to ransom for generations ( the Middle East ), with oil will fade away. They might just learn what a hard day’s work actually means now.

    To the discussion:
I agree with Red. We don’t want anyone locking us up with no money on the table & know we don’t have to because of our accurate forecasting & prudent management of our cash at hand.

We bide our time while the battery makers etc start to get restless in their chairs- while they’re trying to pretend that mostly non applicable nickel means something, while the cobalt market is dumped on by miners ( DRC in particular ), who know that their time is almost up as soon enough no high price consumer market will accept their blood coated minerals. ( we will accept them only once they cost about the same as ours to extract because that will be the only time their workers are getting a fair share ).

We waited for another junior to get out of the way ( not saying they were slow but hey, they were in the queue ahead of us ), for our lab work & have perhaps also waited for a team that locked them up with no money down to show their true colours ( still a few more weeks on that front but their failure to commit thus far tells me there is less & less chance of them doing so), so that we have as many battery hungry teams out hunting at once as possible.

I strongly believe that we will be in production in a very similar timeframe, which means that our smaller market cap, better cash position & much, much, much larger array of mineral assets is on a dollar for dollar basis regarding value much, much, much more attractive than the rest.

The last year has taught us that we most likely could have negotiated a deal to sell, if we would accept magic beans in an attempt to help imbibe confidence.

We didn’t do that because we don’t need to do that. Our board & larger private holders have their stamp all over it. We’re not the weakest animal in the herd, able to be separated & hunted down for free. It’s going to take a real commitment to get us in to bed.

Friday again! Phew! East Coast Oz is boiling! Keep it cool all.

F-150 goes electric.... wow. The very idea of that would have been labelled blasphemy very recently.... That news almost makes me think to go off & look at as many engine makers as I can. Cummins/Peterbilt etc dot com here I come, something tells me you & I have got a lot to catch up on.
