that sort of science might have been published recently but it is more suited to the study of dinosaurs.

The problem is that science changes so fast nowadays that even stuff published a year ago can be outdated.

Its a bit like climate change deniers sticking to the science from a decade ago.

New  computer models will mean ideas from a decade ago are meaningless.
