Actually, I'll assume "fair price" means you are after a fundamental buy.

Tough one. ALU is probably fairly valued around $21-22 based on the last known NPAT + an expected projected growth % (factoring in NTA and divvy)

23 - 24 is baking in some higher growth (so perhaps a 10% swing to the downside if that does not eventuate)

But you also have to factor in company quality and ALU is second to none in that regard. Also remember a director just bought 100k's worth of shares at $20-$21 or so, so she obviously felt that was very good value.

I would honestly think that any buy around here would be a good one for a 6 month hold.
